During the auspicious occasion of Navratri, various customs and rituals are observed across the country. Among the significant rituals, three days are dedicated to the worship of Goddess Saraswati. According to different traditions, Saraswati is believed to be the daughter of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati in some, while in others, she is said to have emerged from Lord Brahma's mouth. This is why she is revered as the goddess of speech and knowledge. Legend has it that Lord Brahma was captivated by her beauty and married her.
