Telangana: Chandrababu Naidu evacuated from Andhra Bhawan
A large number of Delhi police faced tremendous protest before entering Andhar Bhawan (AP Bhawan). The TDP chief later was taken to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital for the treatment.
The TDP supporters tried to prevent the police from taking Naidu away. However, Delhi POlice succeeded to disperse the protesting crowd and managed to put him onto an ambulance and drove him away at 3 o'clock.
Chandrababu had been on an indefinite fast at Andhra Bhawan on Ashoka road over the division of his state. TDP chief earlier was asked to end his fast but he was adamant on his decision to continue with it.
The Delhi police, which reports to the Union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde, was also reluctant to act. According to sources, his deteriorating health condition forced the Delhi police to take him away. Naidu is a diabetic and his ketone level was increasing.
