Delhi: Kejriwal shocks all, gives ticket to 'blackmailer' Rajesh Garg

Kejriwal
New Delhi, Nov 6: One after another controversy has been haunting Arvind Kejriwal, the former companion of Anna Hazare in his fight against corruption. Kejriwal, who once had vowed to uproot corrupt leaders of the country, seems to have encouraged corruption by providing election tickets to an alleged blackmailer -- Rajesh Garg.

Kejriwal, the CM candidate for his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), is contesting the upcoming assembly election in Delhi. The party reportedly has given election ticket to Garg who will contest from Rohini seat in the national capital.

According to a media report, Garg is accused of blackmailing many people by filing Right to Information (RTI). A reporter of a Hindi daily reportedly has collected all FIRs against Garg.

He blackmailed construction companies, harassed people due to personal vendetta

Media reports also informed that Garg has recently switched his loyalty from Congress to AAP. The tainted AAP candidate allegedly blackmailed construction companies and harassed people due to personal vendetta.

This is not the first time when Kejriwal and his party has made headlines. Recently, he caught media attentions for giving ticket to Surendra Sharma, against whom several criminal cases are pending, for Delhi's Shahdara Assembly Constituency. Later, Kejriwal was compelled to removed the candidate after the issue was prominently raised in the media.
