New Delhi, June 10: On Monday, when President Pranab Mukherjee highlighted key issues relating to the government, he also highlighted the ten action points of the Modi government in his speech saying that 'putting back the Indian economy was paramount for the Modi government.'
Mukherjee said: "We will work together to usher our economy into a high growth path, rein in inflation, reignite the investment cycle, accelerate job creation and restore the confidence of the domestic as well as international community in our economy."
Mukherjee spoke about ten points that hold key for the Modi government to bounce back such as eliminating poverty from the country, containing food inflation that skyrocketed during the UPA regime, increasing investment in the field of agriculture.
Greater cooperation between the State and Central government, transparency in system and delivering promises on time, introducing e-governance which will empower and make the government efficient, rationalising and simplifying tax regimes, creating emplyoment, developing infrastructure and promoting tourism and culture wich will help in socio economic progress.
