Former Star TV CEO Sameer Nair joins Aam Aadmi Party

Nair joined the AAP and will support the party in the upcoming Delhi assembly election campaign. Nair said that he was following the party from the start and wanted to contribute to the change that the party was trying to bring in Indian politics.
According to a statement released by the party, Nair's business and family are based in Mumbai. "He has recently been making frequent trips to Delhi to support and contribute in AAP's communication strategy," the statement said.

AAP chief ministerial candidate for Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal welcomed Nair's decision and urged the people to come out and support the party as much as they could.
The party has garnered a lot of support from people from all walks of life, some even leaving their high profile jobs to be a part of the revolution that the AAP is aiming for.
