A residential house at House No. 108, Main Nala Road, Ankur Enclave, in northeast Delhi, caught fire earlier in the day in a different incident. Green firecrackers were allegedly being produced illegally on the property. The fire was reported at around 8:43 in the morning. One person, Rizwan, was hurt and is being treated at GTB Hospital at the moment.

Police claimed that the first floor of the house was being utilized for illegal manufacturing operations, while the ground level had been rented to a junk dealer. Police and fire personnel promptly arrived at the scene after receiving the notice. After four fire engines arrived, the fire was extinguished without causing significant harm to any of the surrounding structures.

Crime Branch authorities and a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) have initiated an inquiry into the origin of the fire and the scope of the illicit activity. Investigations are still being conducted, and legal action has been taken.
