New Delhi, Aug 12: A day after NDTV's expose revealed the ugly truth of doctors striking a deal with medical reps, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said in Parliament that unethical practises will be tackled urgently and that there would be adequate action taken.

This comes to light after NDTV representatives conducted an expose (read more) and posed as medical representatives of a pharmaceutical company and met doctors and asked what would they like in return of promoting their company's drugs.

While one doctor said that he would want a digital camera worth Rs 1.5 lakh, another doctor said that he would like an ipad mini with retina display.
