Demonetisation deadlock: Will Rajnath Singh break the ice?

New Delhi, Nov 24: The BJP is hoping that the deadlock in Parliament over the demonetisation issue would be broken today. The opposition has been relentless in its bashing of the Indian government and have demanded that the Prime Minister speaks in Parliament failing which they would consider a contempt notice.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh who will play peace maker is expected to meet with the floor leaders of the opposition parties at around 10.30 am on Thursday. Along with him union ministers Arun Jaitley and Ananth Kumar too would hold talks with the opposition leaders.

The government has decided to stay firm over its decision. Union Minister, Venkaiah Naidu made it clear the the decision on demonetisation will not be rolled back at any cost. He said that a bold decision had been taken and the government will stick to it.
