Earlier today, residents of Gurugram and Rewari experienced relief as rain showers cooled down the NCR region. The meteorological department predicts that this pleasant weather could continue throughout the week. The rainfall has led to a decrease in temperature, offering comfort to those affected by the heat.

Weather Changes Bring Relief
On 16 June, the maximum temperature recorded was 33.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 29.1 degrees Celsius. With humidity at 69 percent, the discomfort from humidity wasn't felt as much. The cloud cover on Monday morning prevented people from feeling the heat.
The temperature during the day has dropped by 7 to 8 degrees compared to recent days, bringing relief from the heat. Although clouds were present, they did not result in rainfall initially but are expected to bring rain and strong winds over the next week.
Expectations for Upcoming Weather
Monday morning started with dark clouds that shielded people from feeling hot. Despite expectations of rain due to cloud cover, it didn't materialise initially as clouds retreated without precipitation. However, forecasts suggest that rain accompanied by strong winds is likely in the coming week.
The change in weather conditions has been welcomed by residents who have been enduring intense heat and dry spells. The drop in temperatures and increased chances of rain are anticipated to provide ongoing relief.
