According to IMD's nowcast, a yellow alert has been issued for Delhi and Noida. The forecast suggests that light rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning, may occur across various parts of the city. Areas such as South East Delhi, East Delhi, Shahdara, Central Delhi, North East Delhi, South Delhi, New Delhi, South West Delhi, West Delhi, North West Delhi, and North Delhi are expected to be affected.

Delhi has experienced rainfall over recent days, bringing some relief from humid conditions. At Safdarjung, the city's primary weather station recorded 37.8mm of rainfall in the 24-hour period ending at 8 am on Wednesday. The humidity level reached a maximum of 85% on Thursday.

The temperature in the capital is anticipated to range between a minimum of 26°C and a maximum of 33°C. This fluctuation in temperature is typical for this time of year but can impact daily activities during festive times.

The air quality index (AQI) in Delhi was recorded at 114 on Thursday morning. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), this places it in the "moderate" category.
