Delhi Weather Alert: Heatwaves Again In These Places? Weather Forecast From Today Till 9th June
According to the India Meteorological Department's Regional Centre in Delhi, there are yellow alerts of heatwaves in isolated parts of Delhi again.

For the most part, however, temperatures have cooled down a lot across the region, at least when compared to the heatwaves in May. Still, readers are advised to be careful and stay hydrated when going out today.
Delhi Temperatures And Weather Over The Next Week:
Today, 3 June, isolated regions in the north like Mungeshpur, Najafgarh, Narela, Ridge, Pitampura and Pusa may experience high temperatures during the day, going all the way up to 45°C. This would classify these regions as undergoing a heatwave, according to the IMD bulletin board's 7 day forecast.
A warning for this was also given by an IMD press release yesterday, 2 June, at around 1:30 PM, wherein it said that heatwave conditions may continue over Northwest, Central, and East India with reduced intensity over the next three days.
The rest of the region has been forecast to have temperatures still reaching high numbers, but only reaching maximums of 43°C to 44°C. These temperatures will continue to persist for the next week as well, with minimum temperatures also floating between 28°C to 30°C.
As for the weather, all areas in Delhi are expected to get either thunderstorms or dust storms today. Tomorrow, 4 June, only thunderstorms are expected to hit the union territory.
For both today and tomorrow, light rain will also hit the region during the evening or night, so readers may want to carry an umbrella if they're going to be outside around 7:00 PM today and tomorrow.
For the rest of the week, i.e. from 5 June till 9 June, the forecast tells us that the week will primarily have partly cloudy to mostly clear skies, alongside gusty winds reaching speeds between 20 km/h to 40 km/h. An exception to this would be 7 June, when thunderstorms alongside light rain have been forecast.
IMD's Advice For Today And Tomorrow's Storms:
IMD remains concerned that the storms will cause issues for the public like traffic disturbances, electricity outages, and damage to vulnerable structures. They've given the following advice to combat this:
