Delhi wakes up to a warm and humid morning

New Delhi, Aug 18: Delhiites woke up to a warm and humid morning, with the maximum temperature settling at 36 degrees Celsius, according to a Meteorological (MeT) department official.

The minimum temperature is expected to reach 28.5 degrees Celsius and the weatherman has forecast a cloudy sky with light rains and scattered thundershowers.

"The skies will remain partly cloudy and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36.1 degrees Celsius," the official of the department said.

According to the MeT department, the humidity level recorded at 8.30 am was 79 per cent.

Yesterday, the minimum temperature settled at 27.9 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature recorded was 37 degrees Celsius.
