Delhi University's St Stephen's College and St Thomas School In Dwarka Receive Bomb Threats
A panic situation occurred on Tuesday morning after a school and a college in Delhi received bomb threats. According to Delhi Police sources, Delhi University's elite college St. Stephen's College, and St. Thomas School in Dwarka received bomb threats via email.
School and college authorities immediately informed police about threat emails.
Police reacted swiftly and reached school and college along with the bomb squad, dog squad, fire brigade, and special staff team. As a precautionary measure, both institutions were evacuated to ensure everyone's safety.

Security Measures Taken
The police conducted thorough searches at both sites but found nothing suspicious. "So far, the police have not found anything suspicious at either place. The threat was given through mail," stated the police. This incident caused temporary panic among students, staff, and parents.
Just a day earlier on Monday morning, three schools in Delhi also faced similar threats. The CRPF Schools in Prashant Vihar and Dwarka Sector 16, along with another school in Chanakyapuri, received bomb threats via email around 8 am.
Previous Incidents
The Delhi Police confirmed that no suspicious items were discovered during their searches of these schools. This situation follows recent events where multiple private schools in Noida received similar threats.
In those cases, investigations revealed that a Class 9 student had sent the bomb threats to avoid attending school. Despite these incidents causing alarm, authorities have managed to maintain calm by ensuring thorough checks and quick responses.
