Delhi: SUV Hits A Bike From Behind, Rider Dies In Hospital; Family Seeks Justice| CCTV Video Goes Viral

After Pune and Mumbai, another case of death in which a luxury car is involved has been reported. This time, an incident happened in Delhi that claimed the life of a food delivery agent. As per a CCTV video, a white Fortuner car rammed a bike, which then lost its balance. Reportedly, the accident happened in Delhi's Janakpuri area, and later the man succumbed in the hospital.

As mentioned in the Police FIR no. 0321, Jatin, an AC mechanic, saw a man lying on the ground, who was later identified as Mohd. Inayat S/O Himayat. Jatin decided to take that man to a hospital as he was not looking well. Jatin called his friend, who bought a bike (DL4SDQ3956) and both took the victim to Mata Channan Devi Hospital, where doctors found the man's condition serious and referred him to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Government Hospital, where, during the treatment, Mohd. Inayat died.

Doctors then sent his body for an autopsy. Delhi Police head constable Dinesh was on emergency duty in the area and reached the hospital after receiving information about the incident.

The police registered the case under Bharatiya Nayaya Sahita (BNS) sections 281/106 (1) for rash driving or riding on a public road, 125 (a) endangering human life or the personal safety of others.

However, the family of the deceased now alleges the police is not doing anything and that there has been no movement in the case. The family also urged the police to help them and fast-track the investigation to serve justice by putting the culprits behind bars.

When Oneindia contacted the investigating officer, he refused to comment or share any details of the case.

It must be noted that similar incidents have happened in Pune and Mumbai involving luxury cars and the high and mighty have tried their best to wriggle out of the clutches of the authorities.
