Delhi: 'Spiderman Couple' Nabbed By Police Over Viral 'Titanic Pose' Bike Stunt | Watch

Amid the scorching heat in April, a Delhi couple, dressed as the Marvel character Spiderman, found themselves in legal trouble after a viral video showed them performing stunts on a bike, including the 'Titanic pose', on the roads.

The couple was arrested on Friday by the Delhi police for their actions.

In the viral video posted on Instagram, the bike was ridden by the boy dressed as Spiderman without wearing a helmet. Later, a woman, dressed as Spiderwoman, exited the metro station and rode pillion on the bike. The Spiderman couple was then seen holding hands in the Titanic pose while the bike continued to move.

The duo, identified as 20-year-old Aditya and 19-year-old Anjali from southwest Delhi's Najafgarh, were engaging in stunts in their locality. According to ANI, the Delhi Police booked them under the Motor Vehicles Act for riding a bike without a helmet, number plate, mirror, or license, and for performing stunts while dressed as Spiderman, as reported by ABP news.

The video of the couple, titled "Spiderman in Najafgarh", was shared by a user on Instagram and garnered over 9.6 lakh views and more than 77,000 likes. Aditya describes himself as "your friendly neighbourhood Indian spidey" on his Instagram handle and has around 9,000 followers, with his videos amassing around a million views on Instagram.

In another video shared by Aditya, he can be seen selling onions from a cart and performing solo bike stunts. Anjali, his friend, also has an Instagram account called spideygwen_official and describes herself as "your one and only Spider Gwen", with a little over 700 followers on the platform, as per media reports,
