Delhi Schools Face Bomb Threats, Classes Suspended For Safety
In a concerning turn of events, Delhi witnessed a wave of bomb threats targeting several schools across the city for the second time in a week. This prompted the immediate suspension of classes on Friday as authorities scrambled to ensure the safety of students and staff. The threats were reported in the early hours, causing considerable alarm among the education community and beyond. Notably, the schools that received these threats include Bhatnagar International School located in Paschim Vihar, Cambridge School in Srinivas Puri, and DPS Amar Colony situated in East of Kailash.

An official from the Delhi Fire Services disclosed the specifics of the situation, noting that the department had been alerted to the threats at various times during the morning. The fire department responded swiftly, receiving the first call concerning Bhatnagar International School at 4.21 am, followed by notifications about Cambridge School and DPS Amar Colony at 6.23 am and 6.35 am, respectively. The continuation of calls reporting threats necessitated the deployment of multiple fire tenders to the affected locations.
The response to these threats was immediate, with emergency services promptly dispatched to the schools to conduct thorough checks and ensure the premises were secure. The repetition of such incidents within a short span has raised concerns over the safety of educational institutions in the capital, prompting authorities to take significant precautions to protect students and staff from potential harm. The situation remains under close watch as the community seeks to prevent any further disruption to the educational environment in Delhi.
