  • Private schools are instructed to reserve 25% of their seats for students from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups, and children with disabilities.

  • Drawing slips in the presence of parents.
  • The draw will be videographed, and the footage will be retained by the school for future reference and transparency.

Registration Fees:

Schools are permitted to charge only a registration fee of ₹25 along with the submission of admission forms.
It is important to note that purchasing a prospectus is not mandatory for the registration process, making it more cost-effective for parents.

Important Notes:

  • Query Window: Parents can contact school heads between January 18 to January 27, 2025, for any admission-related queries.
  • The process is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and accessibility, especially for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

This new circular reflects the Delhi government's ongoing efforts to provide quality education and equal opportunities for students, especially those from economically weaker sections, as the city's private schools prepare for the 2025-26 academic session.
