Delhi Monday Morning Murder: 34-Year-Old Shot Dead Over Parking Dispute In Preet Vihar, Case Registered

A shocking incident in East Delhi's Preet Vihar has left a 34-year-old man dead after a dispute over parking turned violent. The incident took place in the early hours of Monday and has raised concerns over increasing conflicts in residential areas.

According to police, the victim, Pankaj Nayyar, got into an argument over parking with a man identified as Gaurav Sharma. The dispute reportedly involved Nayyar's brother as well.

What began as a verbal argument quickly escalated. During the confrontation, the accused allegedly took out a gun and fired at Pankaj.

Victim Shot in Chest

Police said that Gaurav Sharma allegedly shot Pankaj Nayyar in the chest at close range. The incident happened around 2:20 am in the Preet Vihar area.

After the shooting, Pankaj was immediately rushed to Malik Radix Health Care Hospital. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Accused On the Run

After the incident, the accused fled the scene. Police have launched a manhunt to track him down.

Officials are checking nearby CCTV footage and gathering evidence to locate the suspect as quickly as possible.

Case Registered Under Multiple Charges

Delhi Police have registered an FIR in connection with the case. The charges include murder, causing hurt, and actions done with common intention.

Sections of the Arms Act have also been added, as a firearm was used in the crime.
