Delhi LG Recommends NIA Probe Into Alleged Khalistan Funding Of AAP: Kejriwal Under Scrutiny
A recommendation for a National Investigation Agency (NIA) probe against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was made by Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, based on allegations of political funding from the banned pro-Khalistan terror outfit, 'Sikhs for Justice', on Monday, as reported by Hindustan Times.
LG Saxena made the statement in response to a complaint alleging that Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party had received $16 million from the pro-Khalistan group to facilitate the release of Devendra Pal Bhullar and advocate pro-Khalistani sentiments.

Kejriwal Under Scrutiny
As per the LG's order, the complaint originated from Ashoo Mongia, the national general secretary of the World Hindu Federation of India. In a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the principal secretary to LG Saxena stated that the complainant had referred to a video purportedly featuring Gurpatwant Singh Pannun (a Khalistani terrorist and founder of the banned organization Sikhs For Justice), alleging that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by Arvind Kejriwal had received a substantial amount of $16 million in funding from Khalistani groups between 2014 and 2022.
The officer's letter also made mention of a "clandestine meeting" between Arvind Kejriwal and "pro-Khalistani Sikhs at Gurudwara Richmond Hills, New York", in 2014. It accused Kejriwal of purportedly promising to facilitate the release of Devender Pal Bhullar in exchange for funding from Khalistani outfits to the Aam Aadmi Party. Devender Pal Bhullar is the convict in the 1993 Delhi bomb blasts case.
