Delhi Govt Raises Pollution Certificate Fees For Vehicles: Check New Rates

The Delhi government has revised pollution-checking rates for the first time in 13 years, leading to increased fees for the issuance of pollution certificates for vehicles.

The new rates are as follows:

• Two and three-wheelers (Petrol, CNG, or LPG): Rs 80
• Four-wheelers (Petrol, CNG, or LPG): Rs 110
• Diesel-powered vehicles: Rs 140

Delhi transport minister Kailash Gahlot said the decision to revise the prices was taken to keep up with the rising costs of pollution checking services

Gahlot said, "In response to the long-pending demands of the Delhi Petrol Dealers Association and to keep up with the rising costs of pollution checking services, we have decided to revise the rates."

He added, "We remain committed to maintaining Delhi's air quality and ensuring that all vehicles meet the required pollution standards."
