Delhi: Girl injured in celebratory firing dies
New Delhi, April 19: A teenaged girl, who was shot in the head during celebratory firing in a marriage in outer Delhi's Mongolpuri area, succumbed to the grievous injuries on Tuesday, April 19 morning.
The tragic incident took place on Sunday, April 17, when Anjali, a student of Class 12th was standing in the balcony of her residence on the second floor and was watching the wedding procession (baraat).

Suddenly, she was badly injured when a bullet hit her during an alleged celebratory firing by youths at the marriage party.
"Doctors were asking us to donate her organs from the time she was admitted", one of the relative of the deceased girl told a news agency.
She was immediately rushed to a hospital in a critical condition.
The police have registered a case in connection with the incident and one of the cousins of the groom who allegedly indulged in the celebratory firing has been identified, police said.
