Delhi Exit Poll Results 2025: Peoples Pulse Predicts BJP Set To Win 51-60 Seats, AAP Trails
The Peoples Pulse Exit Poll 2024 has projected a significant victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Delhi Assembly elections, predicting the party to secure between 51 and 60 seats. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is expected to win between 10 and 19 seats, while the Congress party is projected to remain at zero.

Meanwhile, the saffron party is projected to secure a decisive lead, garnering between 48.5% and 52.5% of the total vote share. The AAP, which has been in power since 2015, is estimated to garner around 36.5% to 40.5% of the votes. While this still reflects significant support, it appears to be a notable drop from the party's previous dominance in Delhi politics.
The Grand Old Party once a major force in Delhi, is expected to secure a mere 6.5% to 8.5%, continuing its struggle in the state.
This marks a stark contrast to the previous assembly elections in 2020, where all major exit polls had forecasted a sweeping victory for AAP. Most pollsters at the time had predicted AAP winning over 50 seats in the 70-member assembly. India Today-Axis My India had estimated the highest seat share for AAP, ranging from 59 to 68 seats, while Jan Ki Baat, News X-Neta, and India News Nation had projected around 55 seats for the party.
The actual results in 2020 aligned closely with these predictions, as AAP, led by Arvind Kejriwal, won a massive 62 seats, while the BJP managed only 8. Congress, which once dominated Delhi politics, failed to secure any seats in that election as well.
With the 2024 exit poll indicating a major shift in Delhi's political landscape, all eyes are now on the official election results to see if these projections hold true.
