Delhi Crime News: Teen Surrounded, Beaten And Stabbed In Bawana; Seven Held

Delhi Crime: A shocking act of street violence has rocked outer north Delhi's Bawana area, where a 17-year-old boy was allegedly chased, beaten and stabbed to death in what police describe as a revenge attack linked to an earlier dispute.

The victim, Salim, a resident of JJ Colony, was attacked around 8.30 pm on Wednesday. According to police, he was intercepted by a group of assailants who allegedly surrounded him before launching a coordinated assault.

Investigators say some of the accused punched and kicked the teenager, while others repeatedly stabbed him with knives. He suffered multiple deep wounds to the chest and other parts of the body. Police received information about the incident at 9.36 pm. Salim was rushed to hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Seven Apprehended, Including Four Juveniles

Within hours, police launched a manhunt using CCTV footage, technical surveillance and local intelligence. Seven suspects were apprehended - three adults and four juveniles aged between 16 and 17.

The arrested adults have been identified as Salin (21), Sahil (20) and Fahad (18), all residents of JJ Colony. Police revealed that one of the juveniles had previously been involved in an attempt-to-murder case.

Four knives allegedly used in the attack have been recovered.

Conspiracy Angle Probed

Police have registered a case at Narela Industrial Area Police Station and are also examining the possible role of Mohammad Farukh for suspected conspiracy and abetment.

Preliminary findings indicate prior enmity between the victim and the accused, suggesting the killing may have been premeditated.

The investigation is ongoing as police piece together the sequence of events behind the brutal crime.
