Delhi Crime: Brother-Sister Found Dead In Dilshad Garden, Police Probe Underway
In a shocking incident, dead bodies of a brother and sister were found hanging in their apartment on Saturday in Delhi's Dilshad Garden. After being informed, police reached the spot swiftly and sent both dead bodies for autopsy. At first look, it appears to be a suicidal case, however, police has started the investigation after lodging the case.
The discovery was made following a complaint about a bad odor emanating from the residence, located in Pocket D of Dilshad Garden. The police, upon arrival, had to forcibly enter the flat as it was locked from the inside.

Upon entry, police encountered a grim scene-the lifeless bodies of Viresh Kumar Tomar, 32, and his sister Chinki, 30, were suspended from the ceiling. The siblings, who hailed from Fatehpur Chak in Uttar Pradesh, had been residing in this rented accommodation since 2021. The absence of a suicide note adds a layer of mystery to their tragic demise.
Forensic experts and a crime team were promptly called to the flat to conduct a detailed examination. The procedure involved thoroughly documenting and filming the scene to aid in the investigation. Despite the initial belief that this was a case of suicide, police are not ruling out other possibilities and are conducting a comprehensive review of all conceivable angles.
The postmortem of the bodies is expected to shed light on the precise cause and timing of their deaths. Meanwhile, authorities are diligently gathering information from neighbors and the landlord to piece together the siblings' backgrounds and any potential motives behind their suspected suicide. The ongoing investigation aims to uncover the full story behind this tragedy.
