Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Calls Sanskrit The "Most Scientific Language", Cites NASA Research
Sanskrit is the "most scientific" and "computer-friendly" language, according to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who also noted its international academic importance and acceptance by scientists, including those from NASA. She spoke at the conclusion of a Sanskrit education program that was started on April 23 and was co-organized by the Delhi government and the non-governmental organisation Samskrita Bharati.
Ms. Gupta highlighted the linguistic and cultural importance of Sanskrit in her speech, calling it a pillar of India's legacy. "This language records our culture, writes down India's glorious history, and is taught in more than 60 universities worldwide," she remarked.

The Chief Minister mentioned that NASA scientists had published articles acknowledging Sanskrit's structure and usefulness in scientific situations, citing her own study. Even NASA experts have written study papers on it, acknowledging it as a scientific language that can be used for orders and coding, I discovered when doing my investigation. She said, "Sanskrit is a scientific language."
Sanskrit is India's genuine mother tongue, according to Ms. Gupta, who also claimed that it is the ancestor of numerous Indian languages. Every state has a mother tongue, but as all languages are descended from Sanskrit, Sanskrit is actually our mother tongue. Sanskrit is the root of Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Sindhi, and Malayalam, she clarified.

The Chief Minister pushed for more people to learn Sanskrit and connected the language's resurgence to India's ambitions to lead the world. "We must learn more about Sanskrit if India hopes to become a Vishva Guru (world leader)." "This is the language that used to govern our businesses, our culture, and our sciences," she remarked.
Social media users' responses to her comments were divided, with some challenging the scientific assertions. She might, however, have been referring to a 1985 study by NASA Ames Research Centre researcher Rick Briggs titled Knowledge Representation in Sanskrit and Artificial Intelligence.
"One of the grammarians' achievements is a technique for paraphrasing Sanskrit in a way that is identical not only in essence but in form with current work in Artificial Intelligence," according to the abstract of the article.
Rekha Gupta declared the Delhi government's dedication to advancing Sanskrit education as she wrapped up her remarks. She declared that schools that teach youngsters Sanskrit will receive more assistance.
