Delhi CM Oath-Taking Ceremony: Will Arvind Kejriwal And Atishi Attend Tomorrow's Event?
After registering a thumping victory in the recently concluded Delhi assembly elections 2025, the BJP is all set to announce its CM face for the national capital. According to the reports, BJP has appointed two senior party leaders: Ravi Shankar Prasad and Om Prakash Dhankhar as observers to pick the next Chief Ministers for Delhi. The party has organized an extravaganza event and invited all NDA chief ministers to the oath-taking ceremony slated to be held on February 20, 2025, at Ram Leela Maidan.

According to reports, Delhi BJP chief Virender Sachdeva will extend invitations to outgoing Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, former CM Arvind Kejriwal, and Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav for the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for Thursday.
This event marks a significant shift as the BJP prepares to govern Delhi after 27 years, following their victory in the 70-member Delhi Assembly.
The BJP has also invited not only political figures but also cab drivers, auto drivers, gig workers, and residents from slums to witness this historic occasion.
Security Measures at Ramlila Maidan
To ensure safety during the event, over 5,000 security personnel will be stationed around Ramlila Maidan. An official informed PTI that more than ten paramilitary companies will also be present to maintain order and manage traffic effectively throughout the day.
BJP MP Yogender Chandolia shared insights into the ongoing preparations at Ram Maidan. He mentioned that continuous meetings are being held to finalise arrangements, highlighting the large number of attendees expected at the ceremony. "Preparations are in full swing at Ram Maidan," Chandolia told ANI.
High-Profile Attendance Expected
The ceremony is anticipated to be a high-profile affair with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, members of the Union Cabinet, and various state Chief Ministers expected to attend. Chandolia expressed enthusiasm about forming a government in Delhi, emphasising that the people have given their mandate to Modi and the BJP.
