As the BJP released its second manifesto for the Delhi Assembly polls, the saffron party is ready with its line up of star campaigners who will campaign for it party candidates in the upcoming poll.

Star Campaigners to Take the Stage

Delhi Polls BJP Plans Mega Rallies

Top BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, JP Nadda, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Nitin Gadkari, are set to address rallies as part of the party's aggressive campaign strategy. Additionally, Chief Ministers and senior leaders from various states, such as Yogi Adityanath, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, will join the campaign trail.

PM Modi is expected to hold three to four rallies in the last week of January, while Yogi Adityanath will lead a series of 14 rallies aimed at attracting Delhi's significant Purvanchali voter base. His rallies will cover key locations such as Kirari, Shahdara, Karol Bagh, Najafgarh, Mehrauli, and Mayur Vihar, among others.

Other Purvanchali leaders, including Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari, Nirahua, and Giriraj Singh, will also address gatherings starting January 23. Complementing these efforts, the BJP plans to organise bike rallies in Purvanchali-dominated areas.

Grassroots Outreach

The BJP has already conducted over 2,500 small meetings and drawing-room gatherings to engage with voters. As part of the outreach, the party organised around 50 out of 70 planned "baithaks" (meetings) on Makar Sankranti, highlighting the central government's welfare schemes and the advantages of a BJP-led administration in Delhi.

With Purvanchali voters comprising approximately 50% of Delhi's population, the BJP is focusing on securing their support. Slum area voters, many of whom hail from Purvanchal, are another key demographic the party is targeting.

Key Promises in the Manifesto

The BJP's second manifesto pledges to provide free education "from KG to PG" for underprivileged students in government educational institutions if the party comes to power.
