Delhi: 23-yr-old gangraped by friend in a moving car

, Sept 18: In a shocking incident, a 23-year-old girl was gangraped by her male friend and his friends in a moving car late on Wednesday night, before she was dumped on the road.

The girl, who is the daughter of a Delhi Police woman constable was out with her male friend and his friends. They went for a drive, when she was offered drinks laced with sedatives.

In her complaint the victim alleged that she was gangraped in the moving car and dumped near the Nehru Place flyover. Police officials said that the girl fell unconscious after consuming the drink. She was spotted by an autorickshaw driver who called the police.

Police officials then took the girl to a hospital where she was examined. The medical examination confirmed that she was raped.

A case has been registered by the police and so far two have been detained.
