Cabinet Approves Metro Extension From HUDA City Centre To Cyber City
The government on Wednesday approved the new metro project from Huda City Centre to Gurugram's Cyber City with a spur to Dwarka Expressway in the recent cabinet meeting.
The project will be completed at a cost of Rs 5,452 crore and will be completed within a period of 4 years.

It will cover a distance of 28.50 km and have 27 stations on the route. The total cost of the project will be around Rs 5,450 crore, Union Minister Goyal told reporters.
The entire project will be elevated and have a spur (sideline) from Basai village for connectivity to the depot. The project is proposed to be completed in four years from the date of its sanction and will be implemented by Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation Limited (HMRTC).
HMRTC will be set up as a 50:50 special purpose vehicle (SPV) of the Central and Haryana governments after a sanction order is issued.
This will be a standard gauge line of 1435 mm (5 ft 8.5 inches). The entire project will be elevated. The spur from Basai village has been provided for connectivity to depot.
The project is proposed to be completed in four years from the date of sanction of the Project and is to be implemented by Harayana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation Limited (HMRTC) which will be set up as a 50:50 Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of the Government of India and Government of Haryana after sanction order is issued.
Metro From HUDA City Centre To Cyber City: Stoppages
The new metro line will have a total of 27 stoppages at Sector 45, Cyber Park, Sector 46, Sector 47, Sector 48, Technology Park, Udyog Vihar Phase 6, Sector 10, Sector 37, Basai, Sector 9, Sector 7, Sector 4, Sector 5, Ashok Vihar, Sector 3, Krishna Chowk, Palam Vihar Extension, Palam Vihar, Sector 23 A, Sector 22, Udyog Vihar Phase 4, and CyberHub.
The main line from Huda City Centre to CyberHub will pass throgh Subash Chowk, Hero Honda Chowk, and Palam Vihar, will span 26.65km, while the spur from Basai village to Dwarka Expressway will be 1.85km long.
