Axis My India Exit Poll Delhi 2025: BJP to Win 45-55 Seats, AAP Trails With 15-25 Seats

The Axis My India exit poll has projected a sweeping victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2025 Delhi Assembly Elections, predicting the saffron party will secure between 45-55 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly. With the majority mark at 36, the forecast suggests a decisive win for the BJP.

Axis My India Exit Poll Delhi 2025 BJP to Win 45-55 Seats AAP Trails With 15-25 Seats

According to the exit poll released on Thursday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is expected to secure between 15-25 seats, marking a significant decline from its previous performance. Meanwhile, the Congress is projected to win just 0-1 seat, further underscoring its diminishing influence in the national capital.

BJP's Surge in Vote Share

In terms of vote share, Axis My India predicts a strong 48% support for the BJP, compared to 42% for the AAP. The Congress is expected to secure only 7% of the votes. This marks a substantial shift from the 2020 Assembly Elections, where the AAP had secured 54% of the vote share, while the BJP had managed only 39%.

BJP Dominates Key Constituencies

The exit poll indicates that the BJP and AAP are likely to split the ten assembly seats in South Delhi, with each party winning five seats. However, in North-East Delhi, the BJP is projected to secure six seats, while the AAP may win four.

In Chandni Chowk, the BJP is poised to win seven out of ten seats, with the AAP likely to secure the remaining three. Similarly, in the New Delhi Lok Sabha segment, the BJP is predicted to win seven assembly seats, while the AAP is expected to claim three.

West and East Delhi Trends

The BJP is anticipated to dominate the West Delhi Lok Sabha segment, winning eight of the ten assembly seats, while the AAP is likely to settle for two. In East Delhi, the BJP is predicted to take eight seats, leaving just two for the AAP.

End of AAP's Eleven-Year Reign?

Most exit polls released on Wednesday align with Axis My India's forecast, signaling the end of the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP's eleven-year rule in Delhi. If these projections hold, the BJP is set to reclaim power in the national capital with a significant mandate, reshaping the political landscape ahead of the upcoming general elections.
