Attending Pakistan Day celebrations: 'Disgusted' VK Singh tweets
New Delhi, March 24: Minister of State for External Affairs Gen VK Singh on Monday tweeted with the hashtag "DISGUST" following a controversy over his attending the Pakistan Day celebrations in the country's high commission here.
Singh, India's former army chief, went to the event which was also attended by a number of Kashmiri separatist leaders like Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Yasin Malik and Mirwaiz Umer Farooq.
Singh, who attended the party for just a few minutes, said the Indian government had to send an MoS and he was asked to attend the programme which he did.
