Arvind Kejriwal: AAP should not contest in Haryana, Maharashtra

AAP may give Haryana, Maha a miss
New Delhi, June 30: As Assembly elections in states like Haryana, New Delhi and Maharashtra draw close, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is now wary and is learning from its past mistakes. Hence that is why there are apprehensions about the party contesting from Haryana and Maharashtra.

AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday spoke to his party workers via Google Hangout and said: "The Aam Aadmi Party should not fight Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections. We should use all resources and volunteers in Delhi."

After a dismal performance in the Lok Sabha elections specially in Haryana and Delhi, the party is undergoing a complete over-haul and wants to focus only on Delhi to regain its lost glory.

Polls are slated in Haryana and Maharashtra later this year, whereas Delhi has been under Presidents Rule ever since Kejriwal quit as the Delhi CM.

Kejriwal said that the need was to focus on Delhi.
