Anil Ambani takes up PM Modi's challenge
New Delhi, Oct 8: Move over the Ice Bucket Challenge, cause Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Clean India Challenge' is taking the country by storm.

Celebrities, sportsmen and politicians are gladly taking up Modi's Clean India challenge and the latest celeb to take up the challenge is industrialist Anil Ambani.

A day after crickter Sachin Tendulkar took up Modi's challenge, CNN-IBN reported that Ambani was seen cleaning the streets of Mumbai early on Wednesday. Taking the legacy forward Ambani has now nominated 9 people to take up the challenge.

He has named actor Amitabh Bachchan, boxer Mary Kom and tennis player Sania Mirza, author Shobha Dey, Shekhar Gupta, Prasoon Joshi, Hrithik Roshan and southern actor Nagarjuna for the challenge.

Anil Ambani was nominated by PM Modi. He said that it was an honour and a privilege to be a part of the Swachh Bharat campaign.

Narendra Modi tweeted on Wednesday morning and praised Ambani for taking up the challenge-

The campaign was launched on Oct 2 and has recevied a good response from the entire country. Modi even received support from Congress leader Shashi Tharoor and AAP for the campaign.
