AAP receives more than 5 lakh responses on govt formation

New Delhi, Dec 19: The ‘aam aadmi' seems to have come out in support of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by sending them replies on whether the party should form a government in Delhi or not.

In response to AAP's message campaign, that was launched on Tuesday, more than 5 lakh people have replied to AAP's letter and message facility. "We have a total of 5.25 lakh replies through SMS, interactive voice response and web," an AAP leader said.

The party said that it was still receiving messages from people and will compile all the responses on Sunday evening and give its final decision on Monday.

AAP will take a decision on Dec 23 on govt formation

Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that the party had written letters to the public, seeking their response on government formation in Delhi. AAP claimed that it was receiving responses from outside Delhi too.

Kejriwal had said that the party would seek public's opinion and will take all the responses into consideration. "If the people want us to form a government, we will form a government," he said.
