Woman set on fire by daughter-in-law, succumbs
Thane, Sept 9: A 42-year-old woman succumbed to burn injuries after she was allegedly set on fire by her daughter- in-law in the district's Bhiwandi town, police said on Wednesday.
Yogita Nalavade (21) is alleged to have yesterday poured kerosene on her mother-in-law Mudrika Nalavade and set her on fire over some argument, said Assistant Police Inspector Arun M Kshirsagar of Narpoli police station.

The victim suffered 85-90 per cent burns and succumbed to her injuries this morning while undergoing treatment at a hospital, he said.
A case has been registered under Section 302 (murder) of IPC, he said, adding that further inquiries are on into the matter.
