We Are Alive Because Of PM Modi: Devendra Fadnavis Recalls Covid-19 Management

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday urged the public to prioritize voting for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting his role in ensuring access to vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Addressing crowds in Madha and Barshi towns within Solapur district, Fadnavis emphasized the significance of Modi's leadership in securing vaccines for the populace. At his rally in Barshi, a segment of the Osmanabad parliamentary constituency, Fadnavis advocated for incumbent MP Omraje Nimbalkar of the Shiv Sena over NCP candidate Archana Patil. Meanwhile, in Madha, part of the Madha Lok Sabha constituency, he supported BJP's sitting MP Ranjitsinh Nimbalkar against Dhairyasheel Mohite Patil of the NCP.

Fadnavis stressed Modi's proactive measures, mentioning India's vaccine distribution efforts through the 'Vaccine Maitri' program. He underscored India's transformation under Modi's governance, citing the country's self-sufficiency in vaccine production and its support to other nations.

Reflecting on India's previous security challenges, Fadnavis credited Modi for a shift in approach, referencing surgical strikes and airstrikes as decisive responses to threats from Pakistan. He contrasted India's progress with Pakistan's economic struggles, attributing it to Modi's leadership.

Regarding Dhairyasheel Mohite Patil's departure from the BJP, Fadnavis indicated that it was a personal decision and expressed confidence in the Mohite Patil family's continued support to the BJP.

The upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Madha and Osmanabad are scheduled for the third phase on May 7, as part of Maharashtra's phased elections spanning from April 19 to May 20. Vote counting is slated for June 4.
