Video: Ande pe andaa... Rakhi Sawant shouts at KRK on TV debate

Mumbai, April 5: Actress-politician Rakhi Sawant, who is contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha election from Mumbai-West constituency as a member of the Rashtriya Aam Party (RAP), a party which was floated by herself after she failed to get a ticket from the BJP, engaged in an absorbing debate with Kamal Rashid Khan, another actor-politician who was fielded by the Samajwadi Party from the same constituency, on ABP News last month. KRK's candidature was scrapped later on grounds of posting sexist tweets.

The other candidates contesting from Mumbai North-West are Congress's Gurudas Kamat, MNS's Mahesh Manjrekar and AAP's Mayank Gandhi.

It was an entertaining face-off between the two freshers in politics and here is a brief look at their debate:

Rakhi: My male opponents will just see how I defeat them in this election.

KRK: Don't call me a dramebaaz. I don't like that tag. I alone stood up in favour of the North Indians in my film Deshdrohi when they were beaten up in Maharashtra.

Rakhi: Have you come here to promote your own film? Listen, listen...

KRK: Let me speak.

Rakhi: Have you come here to promote your own film? You have picked a woman named Rakhi Sawant and not facing those who cause riots in UP? Why were you silent on your own Muslim brothers?

KRK: You don't know anything about politics.

Rakhi: Hello... hello...!

KRK: Please stop so that I can speak. Why don't you sit peacefully? You will get just 1,000 votes.

Rakhi: Andaa... andaa... ande pe ande!

Rakhi: Where do you belong to? Are you a local person?

KRK: The people of India will know the consequences if the likes of Rakhi Sawant becomes politician.

KRK: SP has done good for the people after the riots. No other govt has done this. You don't understand politics. You know only to shout!

Rakhi: I have done more work than you in Bihar and UP. Do you know Mumbai properly? You have come to politics only to get richer and divide people. You just change clothes and drink milk.

KRK: I don't need any government facilities.

KRK: Do you know how many voters your constituency has? How many Vidhan Sabha talukas and wards does your constituency have?

Rakhi: Who are you to ask me questions?

KRK: Ha-ha-ha!

Rakhi: Don't do ha-ha-ha! This isn't a movie going on here.
