Popular TV actor Kavi Kumar Azad passes away

Mumbai, July 9: Actor Kavi Kumar Azad, well known for his role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, breathed his last at Mumbai's Wockhardt Hospital on Monday.

Actor Kavi Kumar Azad played the role of Dr Hansraj Haathi in the serial produced by Neela Tele Films Private Limited.

Kavi Kumar was also a poet. He has also worked in a movie with Aamir Khan named Mela. He was suffering from hypertension, high blood sugar and cardiac problem.

The show's producer, Asit Kumarr Modi, confirmed the news of the actor's death. The cast and crew of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are in complete shock and have rushed to the hospital.
