Mumbai Weather Alert: IMD Forecasts Foggy Start Today, Clear Skies Expected Throughout The Week
Mumbai is expected to experience pleasant weather this week, with mostly clear skies and comfortable temperatures. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the city is set to witness fog and mist on the morning of November 19, followed by a mainly clear sky later in the day. The temperature is predicted to range between 19 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius. The sun is set to rise at 6:48 AM and will set at 5:59 PM, providing nearly 11 hours of daylight, as reported by tide-forecast.com.
The city will experience two high tides today. The first high tide is expected at 2:02 AM with a height of 4.65 metres, followed by the second high tide at 1:42 PM with a height of 3.69 metres. For low tides, the city will see the first one at 8:10 AM, when the water level will drop to 1.59 metres, and the second low tide will occur at 7:53 PM with a water level of 0.44 metres.

- 23 November: A haze will settle over the city, with temperatures between 21 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius.
- 24 November: Hazy conditions are expected to persist, and the temperature is likely to be between 22 degrees Celsius and 34 degrees Celsius.

As of Monday morning, the water stock in the seven lakes supplying Mumbai continues to be stable. These lakes are a crucial source of water for the city, and their levels are regularly monitored, especially during the post-monsoon season by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. The current stock is sufficient to meet the city's water needs, ensuring a steady supply in the coming weeks.
