Mumbai Viral Video: Watch BMW's High-Speed Crash On Coastal Road That Left Viewers Stunned

A video filmed by a passerby on Mumbai's Coastal Road has been gaining widespread attention online. The footage shows a BMW speeding out of control and crashing into the side rails of the highway.

The incident, posted on social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube under the handle Raftaar7811, shows the BMW overtaking a white Wagon R before trying to pass a Toyota Fortuner. As the driver attempts to manoeuvre the car, they lose control and swerve toward the divider at high speed. The car then crashes into the side rails on the opposite side of the road.

Despite the driver slamming the brakes, the BMW's high speed and sharp steering caused the car to drift left, narrowly missing the Fortuner. The crash that follows appears almost cinematic, with the BMW ultimately being totalled. The condition of the occupants in the car remains unknown, as there have been no further updates on their health.

Similar Car Accident

This crash comes shortly after another tragic accident on the same stretch of Coastal Road. The first fatal incident occurred near Haji Ali when a car lost control and flipped over twice.

A 19-year-old woman, Gargi Chate, died at the hospital, and her companion, 22-year-old Sanyam Sakla, sustained critical injuries. The pair had been travelling from Prabhadevi to Churchgate when the car skidded around a sharp turn near Haji Ali.

Despite receiving immediate medical care from Worli Police, Gargi did not survive. Sakla, who was sober at the time of the crash, is undergoing treatment.

The police are investigating the incident, with initial findings indicating no alcohol involvement. Further investigation will aim to determine the cause of this tragic accident.
