Mumbai Local Train Services Update: Megablock Hits Central And Harbor Lines; Check Routes Before Travelling

A Megablock has been scheduled on the Central and Harbor lines of Mumbai's local train network today to facilitate engineering and maintenance works. The Central Railway shares the update in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. Here are the details of the affected services:

Central Line Disruptions

Thane to Diva (Lines 5 and 6): Block from 10:50 AM to 3:20 PM.
Kurla to Vashi (Up and Down Harbor lines): Block from 11:10 AM to 4:10 PM.

During this period, Down Fast/Semi-Fast Locals will be diverted to the Down Slow line between Thane and Kalyan, halting at Kalwa, Mumbra, and Diva stations. Similarly, Up Fast/Semi-Fast Locals will be diverted to the Up Slow line between Kalyan and Thane, halting at Diva, Mumbra, and Kalwa stations.

Harbor Line Disruptions

Services between Panvel, Belapur, and Vashi to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) from 10:34 AM to 3:36 PM on the Down Harbor line, and from 10:16 AM to 3:47 PM on the Up Harbor line, have been cancelled.

Special trains will operate on the CSMT-Kurla and Panvel-Vashi routes. Harbor line passengers can travel between Thane and Vashi, Nerul stations from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Train Schedule Adjustments

a. Down Harbor Route
The last local before the block departs from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 10:18 AM. The first local after the block departs from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 3:44 PM.

b. Up Harbor Route
The last local before the block departs from Panvel at 10:05 AM. The first local after the block departs from Panvel at 3:45 PM.

MEMU Service Suspensions

1. The Vasai Road to Diva train departing from Vasai Road at 9:50 AM will terminate at Kopar. Cancellation between Kopar and Diva.
2. The Vasai Road to Diva train departing from Vasai Road at 12:55 PM will terminate at Kopar. Cancellation between Kopar and Diva.
3. Diva to Vasai Road train departing from Kopar at 11:45 AM will run up to Vasai Road, reaching at 12:30 PM. Cancellation between Diva and Kopar.
4. Diva to Vasai Road train departing from Kopar at 2:45 PM will run up to Vasai Road, reaching at 3:25 PM. Cancellation between Diva and Kopar.
5. Ratnagiri to Diva Fast Passenger will be terminated at Panvel.

List Of Cancelled Trains

1. All services between Panvel, Belapur, Vashi, and CSMT from 10:34 AM to 3:36 PM on the Down Harbor line and from 10:16 AM to 3:47 PM on the Up Harbor line.
2. Vasai Road to Diva trains from Vasai Road at 9:50 AM and 12:55 PM beyond Kopar.
3. Diva to Vasai Road trains from Kopar at 11:45 AM and 2:45 PM beyond Kopar.
4. Ratnagiri to Diva Fast Passenger at Panvel.
