Mumbai Local Train Services: Mega Block Today; Find Out Which Routes Will Be Disrupted

In Mumbai, a disruption will impact train services on Sunday, July 28. Be aware of the following details and make necessary travel plans.

I. Central Line Mega Block

A mega block will be conducted on the up and down express lines between Matunga and Mulund stations on Sunday, July 28, from 11:05 am to 3:05 pm. This is for engineering and maintenance work. The impacts are as follows:

a. Down express services departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) between 10:25 am and 2:45 pm will be diverted to the down-slow route at Matunga.
b. Up Fast Line services departing from Thane between 10:50 am and 3:00 pm will be redirected to the Up Slow Line at Mulund.

II. Harbour Line Block

A block will occur on the Up and Down Harbour lines between Panvel and Vashi stations from 11:05 am to 4:05 pm on July 28. The following services will be affected:

a. Up Harbour route services from Panvel between 10:33 am and 3:49 pm and Down Harbour route services from CSMT between 9:45 am and 3:12 pm are cancelled.
b. Up Harbour route services from Panvel will resume with the first local departing at 4:10 pm.
c. Down Harbour route services from CSMT will resume with the first local departing at 4:10 pm.

Trans-Harbour Route Adjustments

I. Down Trans-Harbour Route:

a. The last local train to Panvel before the block will depart Thane at 9:39 am, arriving in Panvel at 10:31 am.
b. The first local to Panvel after the block will depart Thane at 4:00 pm, arriving in Panvel at 4:52 pm.

II. Up Trans-Harbour Route:

a. The last local train to Thane before the block will depart Panvel at 10:41 am, reaching Thane at 11:33 am.
b. The first local train to Thane after the block will depart Panvel at 4:26 pm, arriving in Thane at 5:20 pm.
