Mumbai: Bulldozers Raze 15 Illegal Properties In Mira Road Post Attack On Ram Temple Rally

Authorities demolished 15 illegal properties at Mumbai's Mira Road on Tuesday. According to the reports, the action was ordered on the 'illegal' properties after the clashes followed by the attack on the Ram Mandir inauguration celebration rally. According to the reports, police are bulldozing 15 "illegal" properties in the area as part of an experiment started by the Uttar Pradesh government. This approach has been adopted by several other BJP-led states to tackle criminal activity, though some critics question the authority and legality of these actions.

As per the visuals from the spot, the action took place under heavy security by Mumbai Police, Palghar Police, Thane Rural Police, Rapid Action Force (RAF), Maharashtra Security Force (MSF) and state reserve police force (SRPF) in Naya Nagar area of Mira Road.
