MSRTC Launches 15% Fare Discount For Long-Distance Travelers From July 1

The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has rolled out a new fare discount scheme effective from July 1, 2025, offering a 15% reduction on advance ticket bookings for passengers traveling distances exceeding 150 km. This initiative aims to make long-distance travel more economical and encourage early reservations.

Who Can Avail the Discount?

Passengers purchasing full-fare tickets (i.e., those not availing any concessions) are eligible for the 15% discount, provided the journey is longer than 150 km. Concession ticket holders are not included under this offer.

When and Where is It Valid?

The discount will be available year-round, excluding peak travel periods such as Diwali and summer vacations. It applies across all MSRTC buses, including premium services like the e-Shivneri buses operating between Mumbai and Pune.

Festival Benefit:
