Maharashtra HSC, SSC Results Postponed? MSBSHSE To Declare Class 10, 12 Results On This Date

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) conducted the Class 10th and 12th board examinations in February and March.

31 Lakh SSC/HSC Students Await Results

Over 31 lakh students have written the exams and are now awaiting the board to declare the results. A total of 16,11,610 students had registered for the Class 10 or the SSC exams, while 15,13,909 candidates registered for the Class 12 or the HSC exams.

The exams were conducted across nine divisions of Maharashtra -Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Amravati, Latur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Konkan, Nashik, and Kolhapur. It was held in over 5,130 centres between February 21 and March 17.

As far as the HSC exams are concerned, out of 15,13,909 candidates, 8,10,348 are boys, 6,94,652 are girls, and 37 are transgender for the class 12 exams held between February 11 to March 18.

When Will The Maharashtra Board Declare HSC And SSC Results?

Going by the earlier reports, the class 10 and 12 results were likely to be out on May 5. However, the latest reports claim that it has been postponed.

The evaluation and compilation of results are in the last stage. Hence, the board is expected to declare the results in the second week of May.

Both the results are likely to be out on May 15 and not May 5.
