'Me Mahila Hoon, Maal Nahi': Shaina NC Hits Out At MP Arvind Sawant's Sexist Remarks
Shiv Sena (Shinde) leader Shaina NC has slammed Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Arvind Sawant for allegedly referring her to as "imported maal".
Speaking to PTI, she said that she is a woman and not "maal" and predicted that he will be defeated in the elections by people.

"This is the same Arvind Sawant for whom we had campaigned in 2014 and 2019. Look at his thinking when he calls a woman 'maal' (item). I would like to tell him that this same voter will make him 'behaal' in the elections," Shaina NC, Shiv Sena candidate from Mumbadevi, told the news agency.
Earlier Arvind Sawant targeted Shaina after she left the BJP to join Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena. "Look at her condition. She was in the BJP all her life and now she has gone to another party. Imported 'maal' does not work here, only original 'maal' works here," ANI quoted him as saying.
Shaina will be taking on Congress' Amin Patel from Mumbadevi which is part of Mumbai South Lok Sabha seat. She is confident of registering victory.
Sawant had defeated Shiv Sena (Shinde) candidate Yamini Jadhav.
The polling for the 288-member assembly will be held on November 20. The counting will take place on November 23.
