The weather will be generally cloudy with a moderate amount of rain in Mumbai today, according to Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). The temperature will range from a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 31 degrees Celsius.

The high tide will occur at 3:06 AM with a height of 3.58 meters and again at 3:08 PM with a height of 3.92 meters. The low tide will be at 8:48 AM with a height of 1.48 meters and again at 9:29 PM with a height of 1.20 meters, as per Tide Times for Mumbai. Weather Alerts In Maharashtra

1. A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rainfall at isolated locations in Raigad.

2. Heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in the ghat areas, with light to moderate rain in the plains of Pune.

3. A yellow alert is in place for thunderstorms with lightning at isolated locations in Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha.

Mumbai Lakes Water Level

The collective water levels in the seven reservoirs supplying the city are currently at 90.87 per cent, according to data from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

As of Friday, the total water stock in Mumbai's lakes stands at 13,15,165 million litres, which represents 90.87 per cent of capacity. Mumbai sources its water from Tulsi, Tansa, Vihar, Bhatsa, Modak Sagar, Upper Vaitarna, and Middle Vaitarna lakes.

The water levels in these lakes are as follows:

  • Tansa: 99.18 per cent
  • Modak Sagar: 100 per cent
  • Middle Vaitarna: 95.92 per cent
  • Upper Vaitarna: 82.32 per cent
  • Bhatsa: 88.43 per cent
  • Vihar: 100 per cent
  • Tulsi: 100 per cent
