July 23: The city will experience temperatures ranging from 24 to 28 degrees Celsius with continued rainfall.
July 24: Similar weather conditions are expected, with moderate rain and cloudy skies throughout the day.

i. Red Alert

Ratnagiri: Expect heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places with extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places.

Satara: Extremely heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in ghat areas and moderate rain in plains.

Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia: Anticipate extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places and heavy to very heavy rainfall at few places. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely at isolated places.

ii. Orange Alerts

Palghar: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places.

Thane: Similar forecast with heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places.

Raigad: Prepare for heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places with extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places.

Sindhudurg: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is anticipated in a few places.

Pune: Extremely heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in ghat areas and moderate rain in plains.

Kolhapur: Similar to Pune, heavy rain is expected in ghat areas and lighter rain in plains.

Amravati, Nagpur, Wardha: Heavy to very heavy rainfall expected, with thunderstorms accompanied by lightning likely at isolated places.

iii. Yellow Alerts

Ahmednagar, Jalna, Parbhani, Hingoli, Nanded: Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds (30 to 40 kilometres per hour) are expected at isolated places.

Kolhapur: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in ghat areas and light to moderate rain in plains.

Akola, Buldhana, Washim: Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning likely at isolated places.

Maharashtra Monsoon Update

The IMD predicts that there is a possibility of more than average rainfall in most parts of Maharashtra. The 'El Nino' ​​condition may remain neutral in the initial phase. But in the second phase of monsoon i.e. in July or August, 'La Nina' condition is likely to occur. The Meteorological Department has clarified that the La Nina conditions are favourable for this year's monsoon in the country.
