Maharashtra Weather Today: IMD Predicts Moderate Rain In Mumbai; Heavy Downpours Expected Across State

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted a minimum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius in Mumbai on July 11. The sky will be predominantly cloudy, and moderate rain is expected throughout the day.

July 12: The temperatures will range between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. Heavy downpours are forecasted, accompanied by a cloudy sky.

July 13: The minimum temperature is expected to be 24 degrees Celsius, with a maximum temperature of around 29 degrees Celsius. Rain is anticipated throughout the day.

July 14: The minimum temperature will be 24 degrees Celsius, and the maximum will be 29 degrees Celsius. Continuous rain is forecasted.

July 15: Temperatures will range from a minimum of 24.0 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 30.0 degrees Celsius, with rain expected.

July 16: The minimum temperature will be 24.0 degrees Celsius, and the maximum will be 29.0 degrees Celsius, with rain forecasted.

IMD Issues Yellow Alert

The IMD has issued weather alerts for multiple districts in Maharashtra. A yellow alert has been issued for several areas, including Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg, where heavy rainfall is expected at isolated locations.

Additionally, Nasik, Pune, Kolhapur, and Satara may receive heavy rainfall at isolated places, especially in the ghat areas.

Districts like Amravati, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, and Nagpur may experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning.

Maharashtra Monsoon Update

The IMD predicts that there is a possibility of more than average rainfall in most parts of Maharashtra. The 'El Nino' ​​condition may remain neutral in the initial phase. But in the second phase of monsoon i.e. in July or August, 'La Nina' condition is likely to occur. The Meteorological Department has clarified that the La Nina conditions are favourable for this year's monsoon in the country.
