Maharashtra Weather Today: IMD Forecasts Five Days Of Rainfall In Mumbai; Check Weather Outlook

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts moderate rainfall in Mumbai today. The city will experience temperatures ranging from a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 32 degrees Celsius.

Mumbai Weather Forecast

The IMD provides the following weather forecast for Mumbai over the next five days:

• July 4: Minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 31 degrees Celsius with a cloudy sky and moderate rainfall.
• July 5: Temperatures between 24 and 31 degrees Celsius with a cloudy sky and moderate showers.
• July 6: Minimum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius with a cloudy sky and moderate downpours.
• July 7: Minimum temperatures at 23 degrees Celsius and maximum at 30 degrees Celsius, accompanied by rain.
• July 8: Weather conditions similar to July 7.

Maharashtra Monsoon Update

The IMD predicts that there is a possibility of more than average rainfall in most parts of Maharashtra. The 'El Nino' ​​condition may remain neutral in the initial phase. But in the second phase of monsoon i.e. in July or August, 'La Nina' condition is likely to occur. The Meteorological Department has clarified that the La Nina conditions are favourable for this year's monsoon in the country.

IMD Issues Yellow Alert

The IMD has issued yellow alerts for several districts across Maharashtra. Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Nasik, Pune, and Satara are expected to receive heavy rainfall at isolated places in the ghat areas.

Additionally, yellow alerts have been issued for Akola, Buldhana, Nagpur, Wardha, and Yavatmal. These areas may experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds, with speeds reaching 30-40 km/h, most likely to occur at isolated places.

Weather In Adjoining Areas

The southwest monsoon is over Saurashtra and Kutch in Gujarat. Thunderstorms have also been reported at isolated places there. In addition to this, heavy rainfall has occurred in isolated places in Konkan and Goa.
